Meet the managers

We wanted to make debz4coffee as a local support group in Nottinghamshire; and also online as we feel there is little support for parents striving to find practical parental advice.

Our hope is that in having debz4coffee we can support each other and offer our own experiences to help each other through times when things are challenging and make friends along the way.

 

Meet us

 

I am Deb (Group Owner)

Mum to two boys who have ASD and ADHD. My eldest son also has a language disorder and PDA . My Youngest son is also dyslexic.

Both boys have tried the different ADHD medication with varying results, My youngest is currently taking Strattera which is helping him, but my eldest can't take any medication as he gets severe side effects from them all.

  My eldest son is attending a special school which he has settled into really well , it is a fantastic school he has progressed so much since september.

I have 100% certainty he is in the right place - as many people have asked.

MEET LYN

(Helper, fundraiser and website design)

Mum to 5 children aged between 5 and 14.

I live in Lincolnshire but help out with the group as much as possible with the website and fundraising.

My main interest as well as my family, is in animal rescue/welfare.

You may have met me at Deb's or the VGT.

Sadly, I can only help with D4C from a distance but Deb's help given to me has been invaluable, and I consider her my best friend and honorary sister
